Melton is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated about 8 miles (13 km) west of Kingston upon Hull city centre and lies to the north of the A63 road.
With Welton (with which it is contiguous) and Wauldby, it forms the civil parish of Welton.
It is perhaps most noted for being the site of South Hunsley School.
The Yorkshire Wolds Way long distance footpath passes to the east and north of the village.
